Q. Where do I check my MIRL messages?
A. Messages and replies to your MIRL post are sent to the email address supplied when you registered as a MIRL user. You may edit this address under your My Account settings. Your email address is hidden for privacy purposes and keeps you anonymous for as long as you choose to do so. Public comments and private replies attached to one of your MIRLs can be seen when logged in under that particular MIRL. You can see your MIRLs on your home page and also on your profile page.
Q. I'm concerned I'm not receiving my MIRL messages. What can I do?
A. First check your Spam folder, then make sure info@mirl.com is included in your Email address book, and "whitelisted" on your email account.
Q. How do I reply to a MIRL message?
A. Scroll to the bottom of the email you received. You will find a reply link to the MIRLer's contact form. You may also go to the MIRLer's profile and click "Contact Me." To reply to a comment you will see a similar link in the email sent to you that will allow you to reply. You may also go to the MIRL that the comment is on and click the "reply" link.
Q. What happens when I "follow" another MIRLer?
A. Use the "follow" feature to stay on top of MIRLs posted by that MIRLer. To "follow" someone already on MIRL, click on his or her username, view the associated profile, and click "follow me" towards the top left of the page. You can also click the "follow me" link shown when you hover over a MIRL on the listings pages.
Q. How do I see my profile?
A. Click on your username at the top right of any page. Your username appears next to "welcome."
Q. How do I update my BIO?
A. Click on "my account" at the top right of any page. "My basics" and "my profile" may be edited from here. There is also a "photos" link to change your profile picture and upload additional images.
